To enable people to comprehend the application and change registration procedure for recycling industry when handling waste to be recycled, Environmental Protection Bureau of Hualien County has designed the following chart regarding its standard operating procedures (SOP).
 
 
I. Registration Scale and Application Procedure for Recycling Industry Handling Waste to be Recycled

II	Recycling and storage factory (plant) of recycling industry handling waste to be recycled other than waste motor vehicle industry with the land area of 1,000 square meters or above	In accordance with Huan-shu-fei-zi No. 0920020828 of Environmental Protection Administration issued on March 28, 2003, the land area and occupied area of recycling industry’s recycling and storage sites include office, green area and other facilities, but the site area for the recycling and storage of other waste (waste not being classified as to be recycled such as waste paper and iron) is excluded.
