Monumental Achievement

Actively support schools, student clubs, and teachers in Hualien County to participate in the National Environment Protection Outstanding Achievement Competition. During 2001 to 2008, there were five schools, 12 teachers, 8 students and 2 clubs won outstanding award and distinctive award.
1. 2001: Supporting Rui-Sui Junior High School, Ms. Chang, Shu-chen, Ms. Jui, Lan-jung, and students Lee, Mei-I and Wang, Yen-lin to win the prize.
2. 2002: Supporting Fengren Elementary School, Ms. Hung, Li-shu, Mr. Hsu, Chuan-te and student Tai, Yu-fen to win the prize.
3. 2003: Supporting Zhongxiao Elementary School, Mingli Elementary School, National Hualien Girls' High School, Mr. Chen, Chu-cheng and student Yang, Sheng-hao to win the distinctive prize
4. 2004: Supporting Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology, Shoufeng elementary school to win the distinctive prize. Students Lin, Wan-ting and Kuo, Chi-jui both won the prizes as well.
5. 2005: Supporting Tzu Chi High School, Dewu Elementary School, and Sipao Elementary School, Ms. Wang, Yu-ying from Yichang elementary school and Chin, Kai-hsiang from National Hualien Industrial Vocational Senior High School to win the prized and were awarded by the President and the Minister of EPA, Executive Yuan.
6. 2006: Supporting three schools: Stella Maris Ursuline High School (won distinctive prize), Wenlan Elementary School (won distinctive prize), and Xilin Elementary School (outstanding prize); teachers: Ms. Yang, I-Ju (won high distinctive prize) from National Dong Hwa University, Mr. Chen, Chun-neng (won distinctive prize) from Sipao Elementary School, Ms. Wang, Li-hsueh (won distinctive prize) from Shoufeng elementary school, and student Tien, Chen-hsun (won high distinctive), from National Hualien Commercial High School.
7. 2007: Supporting schools: Mingli Elementary School (won distinctive prize), Sanzhan Elementary School (won outstanding prize), Szu-wei Senior High School (won outstanding prize); teachers: Mr. Kan, Jen-hsien (won distinctive prize) from Xikou Elementary School; the Gardening club (won outstanding prize) from National Hualien Agricultural High School
8. 2008: Supporting Sipao Elementary School in Xiulin Township, Hualien County to win the distinctive prize, Zhongzheng Elementary School to win the outstanding prize; teachers: Ms. Chen, Li-ching from National Hualien Agricultural High School and Ms. Liao, Jen-I from Wenlan Elementary School in Xiulin Township, Hualien county won distinctive prize; Student: Track and field team from Yuehe Elementary School in Yulin Township, Hualien County won the outstanding prize.
9. 2009: Supporting schools: Stella Maris Ursuline High School (won high distinctive prize), the experimental elementary school of Tzu Chi University and Shoufeng Elementary School won distinctive prize; teachers: Mr. Hsieh, Mei-hui from Beibu Elementary school won high distinctive prize, Mr. Hsieh, Jen-shou won distinctive prize, and Mr. Tseng, Chi-ming won outstanding prize. Student-oriented environment service group in Yichang Elementary School won outstanding prize.
Actively consulting and supporting our groups, volunteers and environmental employees to participate in the National Environment Protection Outstanding Achievement Competition. The outcome was distinctive. During 2001 to 2007, there were five environmental groups, 7 environmental volunteers and 4 environmental employees won the prizes.
1. 2001: Recommending Hualien environmental work facilitation association to woin the prize. The technician Ms. Chiu, Mei-hua won the individual environmental prize.
2. 2002: Recommending volunteer Chiu, Chun-li to win the prize. The inspector Wu, Ching-chan also won the prize.
3. 2003: Recommending Rui-sui community development association, volunteer Pan, Pi-lien, and Chen, Cheng-chung to win the prizes. Mr. Hsu, Da-tung in our organization won the prize.
4. 2004: Hualien volunteer association and Ms. Tasi, Mei-yun won group and volunteer outstanding prizes respectively
5. 2005: Hualien environmental work facilitation association, Mr. Lin, Chien-feng, Ms. Huang, Nuan-ting and the technician Ms. Hung, Chiu-qi won group, volunteer, and environmental employee high distinctive, distinctive and outstanding prizes respectively.
6. 2006: Ms. Cheng, Yu-hsiang from Hualien city volunteer association won outstanding prize
7. 2007: Hualien city volunteer association won group high distinctive prize
8. 2008: Keep improving association won group high distinctive prize and volunteer Fu, Zhong-kung won outstanding prize.
Actively consulting community groups in Hualien to participate in National environment improvement achievement competition. The outcomes were distinctive. During 2001 to 2008, there were 7 community won National Environment Protection Model Community high distinctive and distinctive prizes.
1. Consulting and supporting Beicheng community, which won the tenth National Environment Protection Model Community prize from EPA, Excutive Yuan with NT$ 200 thousand dollars.
2. Consulting and supporting Rui-sui community, which won the 12^th National Environment Protection Model Community prize from EPA, Excutive Yuan with NT$ 200 thousand dollars.
3. Consulting and supporting Niu-li community association to apply the 2004 community development: sustainable homeland project and Niu-li won NT$ 250 thousand dollars.
4. Consulting Feng-li community and Kuo-hsing community to participate the 13^th National Environment Protection Model Community competition and they won distinctive and outstanding prize respectively. The one won distinctive prize was granted with NT$ 200 thousand dollars.
5. Recommending Sanchang community in Xiulin township to participate the 15^th National Environment Protection Model Community competition and they won the high distinctive prize.
6. Consulting and recommending Qixingtan community to win the 16^th National Environment Protection Model Community competition and they won community distinctive prize
7. Consulting and recommending Minsheng community in Hualien City to win the 17th National Environment Protection Model Community competition and they won community distinctive prize
Publishing local environment books: Here comes the garbage truck, which won the first national picture book prize, Little Green Shoot. We were the only government institution that won the prize, the rest were publishers.
